City Publicity was founded and created by publicist and Brisbane businesswoman Peta Ellis.
A need was identified to provide accessible, affordable publicity options. A gap in the market and lack of tools to help business owners generate more exposure in the media and online led to City Publicity being created. City Publicity is a Brisbane PR agency.
Publicity is king in business, and we believe third party endorsements via print editorial, TV or radio air play and online buzz are golden. It’s one thing for you to preach about your products and services, but even better when someone else does.
We do not discourage advertising as there is indeed a use for every promotional and communication medium. However, we leave advertising to the advertising professionals while we focus on Publicity ,as we are Publicity professionals.
Our website has many tools to help you communicate your message, generate publicity and monitor media activity for your business. We offer buy-as-you need PR services with no contracts and no monthly retainer fees.
City Publicity boasts a user friendly website with an online shop, blog and resource centre with downloadable tips on generating publicity for your brand. We also host educational events for you to learn more about the media and how to work with them.
Most importantly, City Publicly has REAL people behind this site. Our online publicity services are not fully-automated. We use the excellent functionality of the web for the tools it can provide us - but after that it's all us. We personally submit Press Releases and Media Alerts to our personal media contacts. We have great media lists which we pride ourselves on and update daily.
