It’s fast, easy, and a fun way to use a phone camera to snap branded QR codes*hanging around the wine bottle. Mynextwine’s codes are the colour of red wine and are encircled with a themed wine stain.
A new generation of tech savvy wine drinkers are filtering into bottle shops encouraging wine brands to embrace new ways to engage with their customers. Smartphone tools manage many aspects of people’s lives, now thanks to mynextwine everyone can access their own mobile ‘good taste guide’ for wine.

QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code). Traditionally the code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background – mynextwine’s codes are the colour of red wine and are encircled with a themed wine stain. The information encoded can be made up of any kind of data. QR codes are (as of 2011) used over a much wider range of applications, including all targeting mobile-phone users (via mobile tagging).
